Celebrating 51 !

This past Sunday I celebrated turning 51 years young ! I actually started celebrating the day before so the 8th. I got up early on Saturday and drove a little over 2 hours to my nieces apartment. My sister drove in earlier in the week from Colorado and so we met at her daughters apartment in Ames. I was so ready to get out of town even if it wasn't to Vegas ! I enjoyed every minute, we ate at the best Mexican Restaurant and picked up dinner at Texas Roadhouse ! Yum ! We went to visit a beautiful outdoors garden by the ISU Football Stadium. I can't remember the name of the garden but boy it was so pretty.

We went to TJMaxx in Ames and I bought this beautiful beige handbag. Like I really need another handbag..... I have a serious addiction just ask my family ! I especially love that it came with a strap that I can attach and make it a crossbody !

I think it's important to have the right handbag with your outfit ! It's just one of those things that I pay attention to. I guess that's why I have a gazillion handbags.

On Sunday my actual birthday we drove into Des Moines and I had cheese cake at the Cheese Cake Factory and it was delicious ! My sister treated me so well all weekend. Speaking of my sister her birthday is tomorrow ! She's younger than me (the baby of the family) and the most unselfish women I know ! I love her and thank God that he gave me a sister !

I drove back to Omaha in the early afternoon and got home to all kinds of nice gifts. My family was beyond kind and thoughtful. Here's to being another year of being older and wiser.
