Not Sure She's Staying ~

I'll fill you in on her story. I like to keep things documented and I use this blog as my little scrapbook to look back on. Nova Jean is an adorable Pit-Bull, She started off as our grand dog which I wasn't thrilled about in the first place. Pitt-Bulls have a reputation, you know ! In all honesty they scare me, until I met this little girl. Our daughter bought her for her little family and as things go she ended up needing more training than anticipated. She's with us now, not sure if it's temporary or forever. She is such a pretty dog and has fit in well with my Miniature Schnauzer Champ but Miss Nova and my Molly don't get along. I should say they "Get Along" as long as Nova stays clear of Molly. We ended up taking over care for Nova in the past few weeks and she's learned a lot. She is hard headed, she gives us and everyone a run for their money but we are slowly seeing progress. Less messes, more coming on command which both are huge.

I don't get credit for the training, my husband has had numerous dogs and we as a family have had several back when our kids were younger, so he knows his stuff when it comes to training dogs.

He's consistant and that's key !!!

She's growing on me, slowly looking at me with her pretty eyes just wanting to be snuggled. She is sweet. I think she came into my life when I needed her. She has helped me realize this bread isn't all that bad. I had listened to horror stories about this bread (which in the news is all bad) and getting to know Nova has made me think about the importance of getting to know a person or such as this an animal for yourself before making a judgement. We all tend to do this. If you don't open up your heart you'll never know what you're missing. Such as this for me..... Meeting Nova and falling in love with her.

I think she'll be staying around, the grandkids and my daughter come visit her often. We told them they can stop by and see her whenever they want to. She gets excited to see them, and the same with them they love her.... We all love her !
