Waikiki Beach Part #6

Waikiki Beach is an iconic landmark in Hawaii's South Shore of Oahu. It's known as the birthplace of modern surfing culture. We stayed at a hotel within 3-5 minutes of the famous Waikiki Beach. The sand was soft, the beach was pristine and I felt like I was truly in heaven. I know that's dramatic but hey ! Tia and I grabbed a coffee most mornings at Honolulu Coffee and would walk up to the beach and take in the sounds of the water coming ashore, the birds and people snapping photos.

Tia kept us busy, we woke up early every morning, headed out for coffee and most mornings we hit the beach for a walk and photo op. We spent little time actually on the beach in our swimsuits and so one afternoon we just went and grabbed some beach chairs and relaxed. Our trip upcoming in Novemebr 2026 we are staying at a hotel right on the beach and planning on more beachtime. It's always fun changing things up year to year.

Tia and I've both been to Kona (The Big Island) and Oahu and we'll be heading back to Oahu again November 2026. I never realized how much I'd enjoy trips to Hawaii. If you've never been but have an opportunity go ! Just go and I promise that you won't regret it.
