We drove over to North Shore on Thursday November 6th and really loved it. We hit several beaches but they were closed off to swimmers/surfers due to the dangerous shore break. We arrived in Oahu at 2:33 pm on November 4th which is so nice because after unpacking at the hotel and changing out of our travel clothes we were able to stroll through Waikiki before it got dark. We never slept in, my body was on Central Time Zone and so I woke up like clock work around 2 ish AM every single morning which would have been 6 ish AM in Nebraska. As I type this blog post I'm smiling so big, this trip was the BEST EVER. We ( My daughter &I) took off from OMA and Landed in MSP around 7 ish AM on Tuesday November 4th. We had a little bit of a layover , well... enough time to grab a small bagel and then get to our gate for the long 8 hour 20 minute flight to HNL.
