I loved walking past this little spot every day, the purple flowers and the signage are both so pretty. As a photographer this kind of thing just brings us JOY ! My daughter might have gotten tired of me contstantly wanting to stop here for photos, but she's a good sport and let me have my moment. I packed both a black and white spaghetti strap dresses because I just knew they'd look great in the photos. I've had these dresses for several years and was waiting for the perfect time to wear them. I tried hard to not go buy new things for our trip, and I feel confident that I was successful ! While in Hawaii my daughter purchased a new dress and she looked stunning as always.

I keep telling her over and over what a fabulous trip it was, she's an adventurer and got me out of my comfort zone on several occasions.

The necklace I'm wearing was a purchase in Waikiki, the streets are lined with the prettiest shops/botiques. I can't tell you the name of the shop but I can tell you that they had lots of beautiful things. Whenever I wear this necklace it'll remind me of such a beautiful place.

If you forget to pack anything and I mean anything you can find it at the ABC Store located on every single corner. Luckily, we didn't forget anything but it was fun to go into all the little shops and grab fun little keepsakes. I found an adorable cermaic turtle for my desk at home. Besides the coffee mug and the necklace the only other thing I bought was the little turlte.

I just had so much fun exploring with my daughter and snapping photos of everthing that shopping really wasn't something I desperatley wanted to do.

We were relatively close to the beach, maybe a 5 minute walk, super easy to access and overall a beautiful beach to not only people watch but to wake up and see the sunrise in the morning. I enjoyed coffee in a to go cup from Honolulu Coffee while walking on the beach watching the sun come up. It's the best experience ever.

I'm already trying to convince my daughter to take her kids to Harbour Island in March for Spring Break. I've got the itch to travel. We'll see what happens, we still have months to figure it out. Stay tuned for more of our trip to Oahu.
